Sorba Projects has played a prominent role in the construction of several new tube stations in the heart of London. One of the most recent completions is Bond Street tube station in Mayfair, one of the city’s most exclusive neighbourhoods. Thanks to Sorba’s expertise in complex engineering and advanced manufacturing techniques in facade engineering, we were the chosen party to carry out this prestigious project. By using high-quality materials such as brass, stainless steel, aluminium and concrete, Sorba managed to create a striking yet elegant ensemble that perfectly suits the station’s design and location.

On 24 October, Bond Street Station was officially opened as part of the prestigious Elizabeth Line. This new metro link was opened on 17 May by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to mark her platinum jubilee. At 06:30 BST , the first train left Abbey Wood, bound for Paddington Sorba Projects has been instrumental in the realisation of several underground stations along this new metro line, including Farringdon Station, Woolwich Station and Whitechapel.
